No Parking

Now it's not for me to make any judgement on the ability of ladies to either park properly or prettily. So I won't.

However, I should say that although this car is owned and driven by a lady, she didn't actually park it there. It turns out that when she arrived, it was pissing down with rain, so after parking it properly she jumped out of the car and ran into the office. The car itself decided it didn't like the spot, so it rolled backwards until it came to a halt against a bollard that has a light on top and a sticker saying "Parking".
The placement of this bollard prevented the car rolling into a Mercedes, and was so poorly set in the ground that it cushioned the impact, resulting in no damage to the Golf.

Half an hour later, the site security people reported to the office that a bollard has been inexplicably damaged in the car-park and the repair to it will cost £400.

We told them that we had no idea how it happened.
