The half hidden courtyard

I love the mystery of half hidden courtyards. I was down in the Cherokee Park area of Sarasota visiting friends and had to make a loop through to see some new plantings of the medians near Mound Street. Coming back to downtown I spotted several yards that piqued my interest, and so I stop and click-point and shoot-as it were-of interesting views. This house is a new interpretation of Mediterranean Revival, or we call it, Med-Rev! The colors evoke the sun drenched European influence and the wrought iron fence work ups the ante in style and charm. This neighborhood is being revitalized at a fast pace, and there are many gems along the way!
