Hung on the Cross

Good Friday and still teeming. Last nights Maundy Thursday service did not quite cut the cloth. This morning went to one in the Anglican Church so meaningful am so glad I ventured out in this intolerable weather.The blip is the interior of that church We do a lot of things combined in this town which is good. The Anglican church is the only one in the town not affected by the damage and earthquake building code so meantime Catholics and Presbyterians meet in our halls, just not the same especially for an Easter service. However the Catholic's borrowed the Anglican church for their special school mass yesterday so wasn't that sensible

My friend coming from South today is stuck on the road about 100km's away. Water over the road so am waiting to hear again as to whether she will get through.
