Murphy

Well cows yesterday and a dog today that just does not seem like me. Set off for our walk this morning and half way round down came the rain again and has not stopped since.
Luckily before the rain started had taken this photo of Murphy so had a blip in the bag. He belongs to one of my friends I walk with and comes with us each day. He is a Maltese Terrier and a super little dog. His little red coat is a bit skee wiff and by the time we got back home in the rain he was decidedly dirty.
The rain is starting to get at us all our April has been like no other April that I can remember. Roads closed all around NZ and this one of the busiest days of the year for travelling . Everyone going away for the last holiday weekend before winter.
Tonight a Maundy Thursday service at Church which includes a meal so have a big pot of vege soup made. Cold days sure makes one think of hot soup.
