Bluebell Potential

We went to pick the new car up today. It's a Golf, and while not quite a Passat, it still drives very well and is comfortable. An excellent replacement under the circumstances.

On the way there, we noticed the bluebells have suddenly appeared on top of the banks through the lanes. They give a beautiful blue haze which caps the banks. I'll have to get down into the woods over the next few days and see if they are out in the valleys as well. The ones in our garden aren't out yet, but as you can see from the above picture, the buds are pretty much ready to open - and there are an awful lot of them scattered around the garden. The only downside with them is their foliage - they just swamp everything around them.

This morning, I picked up the letter saying that I had suffered a stroke on the day of my accident from the doctor and have sent a copy with a covering letter to the police and a copy of that to the court. Hopefully they will drop the charges - but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Looks like the next couple of days are going to be nice, but Sunday and Monday don't look so good. Hope you all have a good Easter break, whatever you might be doing.
