Final Return

Thank you all very much for your best wishes over the summons. I'll be picking up the letter from my doctor tomorrow morning and will get it sent off with a covering letter by lunchtime. Hopefully that will be the end to the whole episode and life can get back to normal. Your support has really helped.

My son went back to university for the last time today. He has two essays and a couple of final exams and then he is done, apart from his degree ceremony. It doesn't seem possible. Three years, which have just flown past and how he has grown from the schoolboy he was when we dropped him off for the first time! We're very, very proud of him.

It was also his Grandma's birthday today. We didn't have a lot of time, between getting my daughter to work and taking him to the station to catch his train, but we (or at least Mrs Mikey) put together a little buffet and took it all round to her house so that she could have lunch with all of us. And very nice it was too. She'll also be coming round on Sunday for an Easter Meal.
