Flowers for Easter
I'm enjoying having a few days off work, without having to do much of anything. The weather wasn't too bad, today, though a bit overcast and very windy so there was no great incentive to get out of doors. Nipped out to the shops in the morning for a few bits and pieces, including these flowers (3 bunches for the price of 2 at Sainsbury's). Made some foccacia again (getting better at it), then sat in the big chair in the lounge reading a book (Ghana must go - very good so far). Then, as it often does in the early evening, the sun came out and I noticed how lovely these flowers looked with the sunlight streaming through them. I grabbed the camera and took a few pictures but none were quite right. However the sun disappeared as I started to arrange them more photogenically, so this is the best one that I got.
We all went for a walk in Pollok after dinner; so nice to have the light evenings back. Iain did his best to be annoying, but I'm sure he does actually enjoy the walks with us, despite his protestations.
