Divebomber

This morning while I was having my breakfast i was aware of a noise against the back door. When I looked, it was to see this chaffinch trying desperately to come inside - he kept knocking himself against the glass window of the door. Just in case he was actually asking for me to fill up the bird feeders I left my breakfast and went outside to give him some seed. He must have some headache now, but at least he has a full tummy!

This was the best of loads of photos - I am now full of admiration for those who manage to capture clear shots of birds in flight like my friend NatureLover.
