This volume is of particular significance because my wife and I bought it from the Neue Bach Gesellschaft publishing house which resides in JSB's former apartment across from the Thomaskirche in Leipzig. He was the organist and choir director at the church for a large segment of his musical career, from 1723 until his death in 1750.
