Appearances can be deceptive

This looks like a beautiful, bright, calm day but actually it was blowing a gale. It looks like one tree but actually it is two. As far as I know it is a Sycamore but in the phrase made immortal by Manuel in Fawlty Towers, 'I know nothing'. That doesn't look at all like he sounds!
