Blue, pink and green
It was another beautiful spring day in Norwich. Will it last into the Easter weekend I wonder?
Here we have a recently cleaned and restored Wellington in the Cathedral Close as well as a beautiful cherry tree.
Cherry blossom is another thing that reminds me of childhood. We used to walk to school through a churchyard and overhanging the path was a cherry tree that we nicknamed the umbrella tree as it was like walking under a pink umbrella when it was in full bloom.
On a related note, on Monday I was in Kew and I saw two little girls having fun throwing handfuls of fallen cherry blossom petals in the air around themselves just like confetti. I wish I'd been able to capture the moment for you all, but it wasn't to be in afraid. It makes me smile just thinking about it though :)
