May Green

A lovely spring morning down by the Wensum today.

'May Green' is how my Gran used to describe that particular shade of green that is only seen on brand new leaves in the weeks after they burst into life and before the weather and pollution has had a chance to do its worst.

It seems to be around a bit earlier thisyear but I think that's probably down to the mild winter we've had here in the East.

Whatever the reason, it's lovely to see.
