Day Tripper

As it's our Wedding Anniversary today (37!) we took a trip to Lyme Regis to" take the sea air" and eat some locally caught fish in one of the pubs.

Out of various shots I took, this one evoked my boyhood day trips and holidays to South Coast seaside resorts back in the 60s: something to do with his clothes, the mono treatment and the texture of the stone on The Cobb (of The French Lieutenant's Woman fame ; that and the fact that I don't often go in for these sort of candid shotsmade it my favourite of the day .
