Apple Blossom Time

Took lots of shots of contrails in the blue skies above the golf course this morning, only to discover when I got home that my compact camera was no longer in the golf bag.

Fortunately, a quick phone call to the pro shop established that someone had handed it in but I didn't want to drive all the way back to collect it so, instead of contrails, here is some blossom which has just started to come out today on the apple tree.

Our friend and golfing partner, Russell, was in fine form in what will be his last round for a while as his cancer treatment starts next week.
