Today's action: Flipped upside down

Early this evening this car went off the road and ended up on the side of the road upside down. The driver suffered injuries but she wasn't hurt badly.

A single car accident, driving down a straight stretch of road when something causes the driver to lose control. Then there's nothing you can do but hold on tight and just hope that the car will come to a stop up straight, without you getting hurt and in a spot where you can get out easily. Unfortunately, once you lost control, often it's a rough ride till it all comes to a standstill. People in the car can get severly hurt or even killed. Fortunately, in this case the driver will be ok. There were no trees, buildings or structures the car could smash into.

First to the scene here was an off duty ambulance worker. One of those occupations that make that you're always on duty when something happens, even when you're off duty! Serving the community, that's what it's all about. Emergency workers are always there to step in where others run away or stand by looking. Be thankful for them, one day they might have to be there for you!
