Happy Days, Happy Waves, Happy Weans!

A fantastic day with the children in the sunshine and waves at Belhaven. Here's Gordon and Katie surfing in to shore, with Duncan watching and loads of surfers in the background. There was nearly no wind, blue skies and big waves - a perfect combination! With high tide at 3.30pm we were there from 2pm. The beach is much safer at high tide since it's so shallow - at low tide it gets very deep very near to shore. So happy days, happy waves, happy weans!

As ever, we got there on our bikes with the gear in my bike trailer.

Home for warm baths whilst I rinsed the wetsuits in the back garden, then they watched The Hobbit (again) and I cooked a hearty dinner before they went off to bed. Phew.
