Jardin Majorelle

This beautiful garden was created in Marrakech by the artist Jaques Majorelle and was later restored by Yves Saint Laurent.

There are towering bamboo which shade the garden and make it a little oasis from the scorching heat - even in April, we have had temperatures between 27 and 38c, although today felt like the hottest day so far so I will have to find out later.

There are also palms, cactus, a beautiful lily pond and many other interesting and beautiful plants.

We also went to an olive grove today, and had a carriage ride. I'm feeling pretty exhausted by the heat to be honest, and tomorrow will be another poolside day.
