A busy day

Neil came down in the tractor, with his servant Steve. Steve is only 16 and cannot go a tractor on the roads yet. As they were spreading dung the MV Pharos came in and anchored.

The MV Pharos is the vessel of the Northern Lightboard. It goes round lighthouses and beacons for summertime maintenance. If she's anchored below us it usually means there is no berth for her in Stromness.

CMC went to bag more bruck below the Bu; I put new hinges on the garden gate and went to get more dung for tatties. After washing the solar panels I'm away to cut the grass and CMC will plant the remaining tatties, 2nd early.

It's home made fish and chips tonight. Yum yum.
