A lovely day

After the gale force winds and rainy weekend today is much better.

It was a shame for all of the visitors who came to the OrkneyDance Fest that the weather was so poor. Between dances they weren't able to get out and about. Conversely, for those indoors attending dance lessons it wasn't too bad; there's nothing worse than coming out of the Pickaquoy Centre to find you have missed a good afternoon of gardening weather.

Our dancing guests departed today on the morning ferry bound for Huntly.

Mrs CMC Snr arrived for a further weeek - most of which will be taken up enabling her eventual move to Stromness. Meantime there's one last dancing session to attend to tonight.
