Well spoken

Unfortunately the wee man was sick during his sleep last night. We heard a strange belching noise and walked in to find a thick milky substance in his cot, on his sleep suit and through his hair.

We cleaned him up and changed him, only for the same thing to happen shortly after.

He seemed fine in himself and didn't have a fever so we just put it down to something he ate. Thankfully he's been fine again today.

Grandma can't quite believe how articulate the wee man is becoming. His vocab is growing at a crazy rate -well over a hundred words now. And he's soooo close to walking.

He's also brilliant at searching for things in books. He'll now point items out upon request, declaring their name as he does so (cats, cars, moon etc.)

In the evening Nikki and I popped out to one of our favourite restaurants, the Gardener's Cottage, where we enjoyed seven courses with five matching wines. If you live locally and haven't been, I highly recommend it. It's not the cheapest place in the world but the food truly is first class.
