One for all you pylon lovers out there, taken on the way back from our bike ride on the bird reserve this morning.

The bitterns were booming well and we were lucky enough to see one (through a high-powered telescope) sunning itself on the edge of the reed beds, while we were chatting to one of the RSPB volunteers at one of the viewing platforms.
