Project come good
This is a tawny owl - a regular visitor to the rough ground at the foot of the garden and finally a decent photograph. They have many different types of colouring depending on their habitat.
As most of my photography is landscape (although you wouldn't know it recently) I treated myself to one of these little beauties yesterday Canon Lens which all things going well should be here in plenty of time for my 6 day stravaig into the wilds of Sutherland over Hogmanay. With any luck we will be treated to the same fantastic conditions we experienced last Hogmanany where we had days of minus temperatures and beutiful clear blue skies and only met one person the whole time - there is still a little wilderness left in our great country.
