Happy Birthday!

Today is my lovely husband's birthday. He had had a very tough 12 months so Oliver and I wanted to show him just how much we love and appreciate him so we took him to Birmingham for the weekend.

We arrived in the evening with time to have a very late tea. Just as we were about to leave the restaurant the waitress asked if we would sit down again because the kitchen had something for the birthday boy and out came these huge slices of cheesecake. It was delicious!

The room was lovely and clean. The shower powerful and Oliver was thrilled to be sleeping in a double bed all to himself.
