El Borne

Nice relaxed day with busboy. We had a hotdog lunch with Bb and then the two of us went into the centre to visit the old El Borne market, which now houses Medieval city ruins and is a cultural centre. Coffee stop just off Calle Montcada, near the Picasso museum. A bit of retail therapy was then called for, resulting in new blue moccasins for busboy. Dinner in Romescos, one of our favourite restaurants and special as our late dad loved it too and Bb and I have been coming here for over 20 years. Speaking of Bb, he was out with a group of friends celebrating our neighbour's 50th birthday tonight. Goodness knows what time he'll get in tonight!
