Ukulele at Presto Classical

Today i attended a ukulele free intro lesson at Presto Classical here in Leamington. Yesterday I was having second thoughts about coming to the free lesson as i assumed that i would be learning the ukulele with little children. Little did i know, the ukulele in Leamington spa is adored by adults. And by adults i mean people who are probably twice my age! I really felt like i was playing with my grannies and gramps! In my mind i was just laughing at myself. Although i really am thinking about buying a concert ukulele soon. I have not decided which one to get that would suit my budget though.

I was handed this tiny ukulele when i showed up. The instructor was one of the members of the Spa Strummers who is going to have a Ukulele festival on the 12th of July at Newbold Comyn Arms.

I was 6 minutes late! graahhhh so ashamed of myself. I found it hard to find a parking space for my bike! I didnt like the soprano ukulele and especially that one that they made me use. It looked so flimsy and doesnt really produce a good enough sound for me. Thinking of an Ashbury AU50 all solid Mahogany ukulele. Now, where to find the money to buy this....
