Rusty roof

Hurrah! Its the weekend!

A leisurely start to the day meant the morning wander with the dogs was a bit later than usual, not that they seemed to be particularly bothered.

HV and I took a drive through to Stromness and a had a wander along the main street, stopping off at Tam's bookshop and a couple of the galleries. We popped into the butchers and left with a huge bag of bones for the dogs.

We stopped in to visit Mum and Dad, and were encouraged to have some lunch. Evie the wonderdog was delighted that we visited, though less happy that we didn't take her anywhere.

Back home and we collected our two monsters and took them out in very strong wind for their wander. I tried a couple of landscapes, but the wind was so strong I was struggling to hold the camera still. I spotted this rusty old roof and liked the contrast with the bright sky.

Today has been a great day :)
