Seeing what's out there

No lie in today as I had to be at the hospital for an ultrasound for 9:45. 4 hours later I emerged having seen a couple of doctors etc. Ugh. And what's more, I've got to be back there first thing tomorrow morning.

Got home starving so really pleased that lunch was ready! Didn't get to Global Village on its last day as intended, but the alternative was just as good. A wander round IKEA made us realise we haven't been there for AGES. Lots has changed and they've got some great new ideas AND a loyalty scheme! A necessary shop for essentials before returning home.

The cutest thing happened today. Whilst G was in church yesterday, she met someone who enquired about me. G said I was poorly!! (I'm not). Anyway, he said about this air purifier that would help and he would bring it to us but as we got back too late last night, he brought it round this morning! SO KIND. We met him once - last year! The reason why we hit it off with this person (who happens to be a doctor) is because we like old Volvos! There you go.
