Floating ..................

.............. in a sea of green.

This beautiful blue anemone was in Mum's garden and I managed to capture it between gusts of wind ....... why does the wind always blow when you have the angle and the composition just right?????

I'm not sure where the stem went - it just seems to have melted into the background.

Spent the day at Mum's - we both had our hair cut, went supermarket shopping, had fish and chips for lunch then a trip to the garden centre - a lovely day all round although it doesn't sound that exciting.

Thank you all so much for the comments and stars on yesterdays "Lilac & the Fly" - like some of you mentioned, I wish we had smellovision - the perfume is wonderful.
