The Lilac and ....................

................... the fly!

One of those "didn't see it until it was on the computer screen" moments - spot the little fly!!

A wander round the garden in pjs looking for a blip - I did chase a bee around for a while but he wasn't settling at all - and I didn't want to blip blossom again however pretty it is.

Larger Lilac ......... and fly.


We have four very small (but 20 year-old) lilac trees in the front garden border - I'm sure they don't grow more than about five feet tall as they are in really shallow, poor soil but they never fail to flower each year ..... they are just starting now.

So ......... a lilac blip today - with bonus insect (is a fly an insect??).

The weather has started out fine but dull and I think the sun may show its face very soon - the sky has some blue in it already.
