Equitant

Another technical term, this one from botany...
Word no.14, Equitant. It refers to leaves that overlap at the base in such way that they are arranged in a flat, fan-like arrangement in two ranks, like iris leaves.
I've got plenty of iris leaves to photograph, but they look a bit boring.
So I'm stretching the concept... I don't actually know whether, technically, these newly emerged acer leaves are equitant, but they look both fan-like and slightly overlapping to me, so I'm using them anyway, because I think they're very beautiful.
