Deep Blue

I expect you're the same? Lived in a place for many years, passed by something regularly but never been in? Wel, that's the case with this fish and chip shop. Passed it countless times in the past 38 years and never been in. Every time we pass it I say that I've never been in too. And I love fish and chips too. We still have not been in, but I thought you'd like to see a shot of a place which I'd never been in in all the years....

Which set me thinking - what other places have I passed by in Maidstone over the intervening 38 years and never called in? Several pubs for sure, which might be seen as a shame. And nightclubs - which might not be such a shame. And the Prison. So I thought I might do an occasional series of "places I've not been in. What about you?

It's strange that when we lived in Canada for the year in the 1980s the staff at the school where I was teaching used to ask where we'd been and where we'd recommend they visit in their own area. They'd never been in of course!

Apart from that it was a much quieter day than yesterday - town in the morning - obviously - with a coffee at Pop's then cutting the grass before going to the gym - which I wasn't much looking forward to. But it turned out OK in the end.
