Swans at Beecraigs

Beecraigs Country Park is in the Bathgate Hills just south of Linlithgow. There is a fine herd of deer resident there and some Highland cattle . There are also good walks on well signposted paths , one of which skirts the loch where there is a lot of birdlife. These swans are young ones, still showing some brown in their plumage, but they were floating gracefully on a glistening water this afternoon.
