End of the Day
And I'm without a blip!
So what do I do? I, of course, seek out the nearest birds. Tonight, the only birds willing to cooperate so late in the evening were a few chickadees. And apparently it was nap time or they were beginning to settle in for the night, for they just sat high up in the branches of a pine tree not really moving much at all. Cute, but hard to photograph from the ground. :-/
Not my best image, but I'm posting this for it's difficulty value. Not that it's a technically difficult image... it's the fact that I had to balance on a precarious ladder to get the shot. Wiggling and wobbling in the wind, as I stretched as high as I could, got me over the majority of the visual obstacles. But there was no way for me to get the giant blurry branch out of the foreground, I just wasn't tall enough. So this will just have to do. Any higher and my camera and I may not have made it back in one piece. :)
I much prefer the birds that land in convenient photographic settings, but at the end of the night, beggars can't be choosers.
Prettier feathers in large.
