Tulip in the Sun

More abstract in large.

I had a few pleasant shots of birds today, but I kept coming back to the abstract images of my miniature tulips. I just love the color of these little flowers and the light really made a fun image for me. So I decided to post something different. Abstracts are what got me interested in photography... quite a while before I discovered birds, critters and insects. Somehow, things with a face end up on blip far more often than an abstract, but I couldn't resist this one today.

It was an number-crunching office day, then I joined the Spring Poop Brigade... All part of being a dog owner... A yard full of doggie bombs as the snow melts is bad... A yard in the woods, on a cliff hill, with fall leaves scattered along the forrest floor is really BAD! Why? Because it's impossible to see all of the piles... I managed to avoid stepping in any this year, but man oh man was there a lot! 2 dogs, 5 1/2 months of heavy snow... You do the math. (We walk them and pick up after them, but they still leave gifts in the remote areas of the yard.) :(
More info. than you ever wanted to know, eh? It was a loooong day...

So anyway, this little tulip was a real bright spot for me. :))
