Ford at Beckfoot Bridge

This ford on Beckfoot Lane is ancient and looks deceptively shallow. It attracts four wheel drivers sometimes with interesting results, I even tried to cycle across it once but got only half way. The house behind, Beckfoot Farm, is associated with the Knights Templar and dates back to the 17th century.
