The Great Heron

Up at the crack of dawn and out to get a couple of hhors photograhing birds. The sunrise was spectacualr with lots of nice mist burnnng off the fields and lakes.

Haven't looked at many of the pictures yet but I liked the turqiose marking around the eye in this one. I think its a Great Egret with its breeding plumage. Sorry - didn't mean to have two Egret shots in a row!

By the way the sky color here is straight out the camera and un - polarised.
