Butterfly morning

There was a cold wind, but it was really sunny for most of the morning and plenty of butterflies were on the wing at the nature reserve. I saw my first Green-veined White of the year and five other species, including many Brimstones. This Brimstone was constantly on the move and difficult to photograph - in the only sharp shots I did get, it had its head buried deep inside a Bluebell flower! I think my insect photography technique is a bit rusty after the long winter.
