On my way to the airport

...snapped from a moving train somewhere between Reading and Gatwick!

Long journey with 2 changes of train, but Gatwick is nicer than Heathrow when you finally get there!

I am lying in a comfortable bed in Rethymnon, listening to passing traffic and the lap of the waves on the shore. My friends met me off the plane at Chania, and we are now in a hotel in Rethymnon. I was not expecting to have a room of my own, so dragged my friemd Una to the bar when we got here at midnight or whatever time it was! I've gained 2 hours, and was far too excited to go straight to sleep!

More tomorrow, when it will be daylight, so I can take pictures.
