Gak!

Was flicking through the ancient cook book that used to belong to my Mum, when I came across this recipe for a 'prairie oyster'.

My immediate reaction on reading this recipe was "..and then what do I do with it?"

..followed by "wha..? I'm meant to eat it?

..followed by "GAK!"

Happy to say that Mum never served up this particular delicacy when we were at home.. I doubt that any of us kids would have touched it!!

(The following recipe for cheese custard doesn't sound too appetising either!)
