Back to wintry weather

It's fair to say that I do not need many excuses to drink hot chocolate. I don't often light a real fire when my husband is away but the thought of sitting by flickering flames in the hearth drinking this while the children read their picture books and gradually get sleepier and the wind wails outside is delightfully appealing. Little H is visiting her grandparents and cousins so Little S and I have had a long tiring day of play. But maybe tomorrow I'll manage that full picture.
