Queen of the Slide

Audrey's still not right. So easily upset. Flash points include being changed, having a bath or any kind of fall (however minor). "Mummyeeee Mummyeeee Mummyeeee" etc. She is very clingy with me which means I can't get anything done.

Of course, she was fine with Mum and Dad!

Worked from All Star Lanes this morning and had a sneaky lunch at Australasia with Angus which was unexpected but lovely (even if we did both work throughout on our phones and laptops respectively).

Had my pitch in Chorlton this afternoon (the one I wrote on Friday). Think the potential client liked it but she seemed slightly underwhelmed so I might have been a bit complacent about it in delivery. We'll see. Should find out the result soon. Actually had to turn a piece of retainer work down in Nottingham as we're getting too busy and it just wouldn't have been feasible to do it as well right now. Funny how things have changed with the business this past month. Have gone from worrying about work to turning work down!

Home to pick Audrey up for a quick run to the park which seemed to brighten her up. She stood majestically on top of the slide and I managed to capture this image. She looks regal!
