Suite

Wonderful first day of our holidays. Lonnnnnng drive up to Edinburgh though (5 hours including 3 stops) but so worth driving in to see the city basking in afternoon sunshine, looking majestic. Edinburgh is beautiful.

Squidge got fed up on the last leg of the trip complaining that her back was hurting and travel sickness. But think we did well considering how long the journey was.

Have splurged a bit on a suite in a boutique hotel and it is so worth it. We have so much room, it's like staying in an apartment and Squidge loves it (see pic of her bouncing on the bed).

Things are so much easier now she's a bit older. It really is much more relaxed as she can play and be entertained by new surroundings alone.

We pushed things a bit later tonight and got dressed up and went for dinner downstairs. She was so excited and sat at the dressing table pretending to do her make-up like Mummy. So cute.
