Cake, Bake but no Date

After slaving away over the cake yesterday for the Clandestine Cake Club Competition at the Cake & Bake Show, we strolled around sampling the foodie delights that were on offer.
Ferguson & Gracie immediately clocked a candy gloss stall & spent our entire visit pining after it.after bruschettas, gourmet sausage rolls, brownies, & such like, they finally got their hearts desire.
Afterwards we headed out separate ways & I took some relish in the fact of not clock watching to get Ferguson back home to bed as he was staying at my mums.
The light nights threw me a little & my 10pm arrival home was met with a 2 thirds drunk bottle of wine & an upset boyfriend over a lost bonus date night.
I'm not a mind reader, why didn't he just let me know & I could have been home in a more timely fashion...
