Black Hole Sun

Not quite what I expected from my playing around with oil, water and ink but it'll do. I was hoping to get some swirly patterns but I think I left out washing up liquid which is a vital ingredient in the whole affair.

I also tried creating 'smallgantics' using rotoscoped masks in After Effects but the video I was working on might have been a bit complex for a first attempt.
