Climbing Frame

I needed a frame for a climbing rose. So a few weeks ago, we created one using metal rings from an old half whisky barrel. I had a hazy idea about spirals and Ellen had further inspiration and the welding skills.

We put it up and it has been 'on trial' with a climbing rose called 'Compassion'. They belong together. It looks as if it has always been there. Thought it looked good against the blue sky which appeared at the end of the day.
