Head towards towers
Shaped against flat sky
As rivers of green and yellow
Roll past.

A late afternoon walk with Carol and Billy, the ball games over. The countryside is brilliant with yellow but I fear the rape will soon be over - I'm more used to seeing it towards the end of May when en famille we head for Hay on Wye for the book festival (though not this year).

Not much time for photography or blipping at the mo, which is particularly frustrating as I've got my great new camera and want to play with it. Hope to carve out time this week for the macro and telephoto lenses ...
