Splashing white

Blossom
Casts a gauzy veil
Over the entrance
To the ghostly wood,
Splashing white
On a green canvas.

Had to go into Canterbury this morning so popped up to the university on the way home to play with the new camera. It was nice to get out for a blip wander for the first time in a week or so. I'm only using the kit lens but already I'm enjoying it immensely. In this image, I'm pleased with the depth and ghostly movement, blurriness and sharp focus of the blossom in the foreground. Hopefully I'll get my blip mojo back now.
