Reading Corner

My favorite corner for a bit of reading - and today a reward for crossing the chores off the list - to include the best batch ever of my rhubarb chutney, now all processed and in jars ready for winter.

The book is A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki - very interesting tale of a found diary that came in over the Pacific from Japan to one of the islands off British Columbia and is inclusive of many fascinating details and tangents to include climate change, cultural shifts, even quantum physics. But told in a captivating narrative!
