Those old familiar faces

It feels so long since I sat with a cuppa and the Saturday papers it was like greeting an old friend when I opened the magazine. Since my injury has paused all exercise save physio and work has been so busy it quickly elbowed its way into the "waiting during Anna's dance classes" slot. Not that I've really minded as a, I love my work and b, those precious two hours of focused activity sweeping up what got dropped during the week has aided my sanity no end.

However, the holidays are here, the sun is shining and I can feel the relaxed pace washing over me already. And not too soon, the kids are on their knees and we are all looking forward to some R&R. And as much as you may have spotted how much I relish a trip I am quite delighted to be staying put for the majority of this holiday.
