I kept Katie home again today. She's a lot better, but its taken it out of her and the nights still arent fabulous. We did a lot of playing - I'd built her stable last night and she enjoyed that. She spent 2 hours on her workbook. She did lots of letters, numbers, pairs, patterns, positional words, sorting. I asked her repeatedly if she wanted to stop but she didnt.

I had suggested that she miss swimming today. She was having none of it. However she was not up for cycling there. I offered her the chance of trying a carrier we are testing for the maker. Its been months since she went in the sling, I've sold most of them accordingly, but she was very keen for "Tuddles".

She did well in swimming and grinned the whole time.  That said,  one of the mums and I both commented that there just wasnt her usual power behind her swimming. She was whacked when she got home and fell asleep in my arms.
